Google Earth is a program that allows you navigate around the world as captured by satellite imagery.

Some of the world is pictured at low resolution where you can just about make out streets within built up areas. However some of the world has been captured at higher resolution where you can make out individual builders (or better in some areas).

Pattaya has recently been upgraded to high resolution.

Google Earth is a free program but be aware that it requires broadband Internet and a computer less than 3 or 4 years old (See Google website for detailed specifications)

One of the good features of Google Earth is that you can share place markers in a standard file format suitable for email and posting on the Internet etc.
